SCIF Design
FGS personnel have constructed and managed over 100,000 square feet of
Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) office and storage
space supporting contracts in the U.S. and abroad. Our staff's in-depth understanding of physical security
requirements as defined in DCID 6/9 (formerly DCID 1/21), and the National Industrial
Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) ensures the successful accreditation
for sensitive Government program requirements.
Our knowledge of construction features, access control systems, badging systems, intrusion detection systems/alarms, telephones,
red/black criteria for automated
information systems, and storage facilities (as identified in DCID 6/9, DCID
6/3, the NISPOM, and supporting DoD policies, standards and executive orders) provides
the requisite experience needed to support the Intelligence Community, DoD and commercial concerns.
